2026

History

Irina Yushmanova is the founder and visionary leader of the international art festival RIOS DE COLOR, one of the most dynamic cultural platforms in contemporary realist art. A professional visual artist and the director of Endorphine Art School, founded in Mexico in 2019, Yushmanova has played a key role in connecting artists across continents through exhibitions, competitions, and educational initiatives.

The history of RIOS DE COLOR (RIVERS OF COLOR) began in 2023, when Irina Yushmanova with her great team organized the First International Art Festival, bringing together 128 artworks from artists representing 26 countries in a physical exhibition. The success of this debut edition confirmed the strong demand for an inclusive, high-quality international art dialogue.

Building on this momentum, the Second Festival in 2025 expanded significantly, featuring 147 artworks from 34 countries in a two physical exhibitions in Juan Rulfo Cultural Center in Mexico City during 1 month and the Watercolor Museum of Mexico State during 2 months, as well as a large-scale virtual exhibition showcasing 500 artworks from 54 countries, making RIOS DE COLOR a truly global event.

The jury members and invited artists were:
