Irina Yushmanova

Irina is a 41-year-old visual artist from Moscow, Russia, who has lived in Mexico City (CDMX) since 2014.

She is a graduate of the Moscow Academy of Fine Arts and the Moscow Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

Irina is a professional artist specializing in realistic and impressionistic techniques in watercolor, oil, drawing, pastel, acrylics, and mixed media. She belongs to the Russian academic school, considered by many to be one of the best schools of realistic painting in the world.

Irina has participated in and won numerous solo and group exhibitions and competitions both nationally and internationally.
Irina teaches workshops and academic courses in various painting techniques at her school, Endorphine Art School, both in person and via Zoom. She also organizes plein air painting activities and figure drawing sessions. See the Calendar.

Irina represents the International Watercolor Society (IWS) Globe Art Network as an institution under the name IWS Irina Endorphine.Art and is a member of many national and international art associations. Irina leads the Mexican group of the FabrianoInAcquerello International Watercolor Festival in Fabriano, Italy, one of only two groups in the country.

Irina organizes drawing and painting competitions and national and international exhibitions, including six short-form human figure competitions, 16 group exhibitions of her students, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd International Art Festival RIOS DE COLOR, as well as three international plein air competitions in San Miguel de Allende, among other team-organized events.

Currently, she is inspired by urban landscapes and the human figure in realist and impressionist styles. All works published on this website are by Irina.
